POP ICON KYLIE MINOGUE BRINGS HER APHRODITE – LIVE 2011 WORLD TOUR TO THE COLOSSEUM AT CAESARS PALACE MAY 22

North American Leg of Her 2011 World Tour Closes In Las Vegas

Kylie Earns Fifth 1 U.S. Billboard Club Single With Get Outta My Way

The tour starts Feb. 19th in Denmark and will play in arenas throughout Europe & Japan before hitting Canada, U.S. and Mexico. The Aphrodite Live 2011 tour promises to be an absolute landmark in the career of Kylie Minogue who is renowned for her groundbreaking live shows. Pre-sale tickets for the U.S. leg of the tour begin on January 14th for American Express card holders and Kylies fanbase with public on sale beginning January 22nd.

The reaction to Aphrodite has been absolutely incredible and has inspired me and my creative team to develop a new show that will take all of us on a euphoric journey of joy, excitement and glamour. I cant wait to get on the road and see all my fans in 2011, said Kylie.

In the fall of 2009 Kylie stormed America to sell out her first ever North American tour. The 6-city tour kicked off in Oakland and made stops in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto and New York, wowing fans and critics alike at each stop. Entertainment Weekly called the show a two-hour post-disco fantasia of strobe, bass, and glitteran all-out spectacle. The New York Times claimed The concert (was) efficient, clobbering, expensive, generousclose to an alternate reality; high praise indeed and the 2011 show promises to be bigger and better in every way

After the run-away success of the last tour Kylie will be presenting the North American version of Aphrodite Live 2011 in more intimate rooms in the States, where possible, including a much anticipated return to the Hammerstein Ballroom in NY and the Hollywood Bowl in LA.

The North American dates are being presented by Logo TV and produced by Los Angeles-based concert promotion firm Bill Silva Presents (BSP), who also produced the 2009 North American tour.

Kylies eleventh album Aphrodite was released in July and debuted at 19 in the U.S., marking her highest US chart position since Fever in 2002. Aphrodite became Kylies fifth 1 album in the UK, hitting the top spot a full 22 years to the week since her debut album Kylie entered the chart. The album also made Kylie the first solo artist in the history of the UK charts to have a 1 album in four different decades. Around the globe Aphrodite debuted in the top 10 in thirteen different countries.

The new single Get Outta My Way recently hit the top of the US Billboard Club Chart, marking her second consecutive 1 Billboard Club single from Aphrodite following All The Lovers and her fifth career 1 club single to date. The video was recently added to the playlist at VH1. Kylie has visited the US several times since the release of Aphrodite and has performed Get Outta My Way on NBCs Americas Got Talent and The Tonight Show With Jay Leno as well as ABCs Dancing With The Stars. She also appeared on ABCs Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Kylie began the holiday season in New York, performing at the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade and The Rockefeller Tree Lighting which both aired on NBC. The Mind-Blowing Pink Floyd Experience LIVE at bergenPAC!

(Englewood, New Jersey January 20, 2011) – Pink Floyd is rarely discussed without using words like “psychedelic,” “conceptual” and “provocative.” Their shows are described as being theatrical with mind-blowing lights and unsurpassed sound. On top of that, their music cannot be referred to without making mention of their record-breaking status. Without question Pink Floyd remains one of the most influential rock bands of all time. It was no easy feat to bring such a story to the stage…But they’ve done it!

The 1977 concept album ANIMALS was a statement regarding the decline of society of the day. While making the album did set in motion the discord that would eventually destroy the band, the subsequent tour for this release planted the seeds for what would become The Wall.

Now, get ready for THE PINK FLOYD EXPERIENCE as they present Animals live in its entirety! In addition to ANIMALS, all of Pink Floyd’s greatest hits are performed live including such favorites as “Money,” “Have a Cigar,” “Time,” “Comfortably Numb,” “Run Like Hell,” and many rarities not often heard live!

Annerin Productions has endeavored to bring fans the show they never thought they’d see. They searched the continent for committed and talented musicians who could really do it justice -they nailed it. They found the band, the lights and the sound to create THE show for the ultimate Floyd fan, and it’s called…The Pink Floyd Experience:

Tom Quinn: Band leader, lead guitarist and relentless crusader for all things “Pink Floyd.” In 1973, The Dark Side Of The Moon was released. That same year, Quinn bought his first guitar and started his first band. He dates the musical roots of PFX back to 1994, and Pink Floyd’s Division Bell tour stop in San Diego. The band hit the stage in April 1995, and went on to garner many San Diego Music Awards from 1999 to 2003.

Gus Beaudoin was born on May 3, 1952, and started playing bass guitar at age 13. With almost 40 years of musical experience to draw from, Beaudoin is well-respected by his peers for his talent and tenacity. Players such as Tim Bogart, Chris Squire and Stanley Clarke, along with early Motown and the Monkeys, were big influences on Beaudoin’s powerful and rock-solid style. Beaudoin has toured across both the U.S. and Canada playing many styles of music, including rock, country, jazz, disco and classical. He and Tom Quinn joined up in 1997 and started playing Floyd music anywhere someone would let them set up their equipment, out of pure love for the music of Pink Floyd.

Graham Heath, lead vocalist for PFX, grew up in Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire, England, and has been singing and recording for the last ten years in the U.S. and Europe. Heath has enjoyed working alongside artists such as Waz Not Woz, producer Bruce Forrest and Jack Bruce of Cream, and was invited to record by Bill Wyman in the Rolling Stones mobile studio. Recently, Heath founded and was signed to One/UK/USA Record and Publishing Company. Recognized as a natural live performer, Heath is an inspiration and welcome addition to PFX.

Jesse Molloy, at the age of 24, is already an accomplished saxophone player. A resident of San Diego, Molloy has toured and recorded nationally and internationally with several acts, including the Giant People Ensemble, Elijah, Lennheart and the Jamaican National Orchestra. He has also worked closely with producers such as Glenn McKinney, Carlos Malcom and Dito Godwin. Through these musical journeys, Heath has developed an eclectic and very personal voice on the sax. Inspired by greats such as John Coltrane, Michael Brecker and Kenny Garret, he has studied under the great Hollis Gentry III and Rhett Bender. Molloy is the perfect complement to the PFX sound.

John Cox has is a self-taught keyboardist who began playing at age 9. In addition to his current duties as keyboardist and sound designer for PFX, Cox also plays the keys in the YES tribute band Roundabout and the Jethro Tull tribute Heavy Horses, and has his own CD of electronic and acoustic sound-scapes entitled Airbrush (www.airbrushmusic.com).

Stephen Shannon heard the Beatles and knew he wanted to be a drummer. He got his first drum kit at eleven and was influenced by many styles of music, including, of course, Pink Floyd. Shannon spent many years playing in classic rock, rhythm and blues, and progressive rock bands while he honed his formidable technique.

Keller Williams kids matinee

Keller Williams kids matinee Featured

KELLER WILLIAMS KIDS MATINEE, Saturday, February 19, 3:30pm, single ticket, family 4 pack & Superfreek ticket that gets you into both the matinee and evening shows
Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Keller Williams is literally a one-man band. His fascinating live shows feature him solo on-stage with a Gibson Echoplex Digital Pro looping unit, and he creates his backing loops in the moment, building and improvising as he goes on his custom-made ten-string guitar, and thanks to his equally as quirky, upbeat, and semi-surreal songs (which he frequently weaves into extended, half-improvised medleys) and his warm, friendly tenor singing voice, Williams is an utterly unique performer whose musical eccentricities don’t keep him from being immediately accessible. With his sixteenth album, KIDS, Keller Williams stakes out his next conquest, the complete adoration of the under-10 crowd and their parents, caregivers and relatives.
