In a troubled economy like the one we are living in now, many business owners are forced to make cost cutting decisions keep their doors open. After spending every Tuesday for the last six years at Dakota’s in Schaumburg, MMTD and Dakota’s have parted ways.

Whether pulling the plug on such a long running successful event like MMTD’s Tuesday Night Throwdown at Dakota’s will prove to be a wise decision on either party’s part still remains to be seen. At the moment MMTD has not announced a new location for our 400+ weekly guests to party at on a Tuesday. Typically the week or two after New Years are the slowest of the year, so giving our staff and guests some time to relax and gear up for our next event seems like a great idea to us!

Most nightclubs don’t last six years, let alone a legendary Tuesday promotion like ours. MMTD wishes nothing but success for Alex Childs, the club’s owner, and the entire Dakota’s staff who have been great to work with for all six of our years together.

We met Stephanie at Dakota’s Tuesdays, our FAVORITE Tuesday Night hang out! Stephanie is a cute entertainer that loves Jager bombs and dancing! We met Maricely (or Mari for short) at Dakota’s Tuesdays! This Puerto Rican/Mexican cutie graduated with a degree in fashion and wants to start her own fashion business with her sister! Currently she is a manager at a hair salon, but when she’s not working, she loves to throw back a cold Corona and dance the night away!
